"Trash to Treasure"

...another show from the guys from ISM. We were to pick something from the trash, garage sale, thrift store, etc. and breathe life into it again.

I found an old ukulele at a swap meet and thought it'll be fun to paint. it was pretty beaten up with parts missing. I sanded it down and just started drawing in one corner, letting it take me where ever it would go. I soon ended up with this image. It was so much fun, I'd do it again.

The meticulous layers of subtle symbolism within this masterpiece evoke a whimsical sense of serenity, cultivation, and the stroke of a total perv. I fell all warm & fuzzy inside. Nice one Rich!

I tryed very hard not to notice the symbolism. The piece is still very beautiful to me.

Rich, this is really cool. I love your choice of colors and how they go with the wood of the instrument. Fun subject matter. I really like her beaver too!

Does this have anything to do with the Winona's Big Brown Beaver by Primus?
