These were done with the amazing Winsor Newton Series 7 brushes...It can load such a ginormous amount of liqiud and yet give such a consistent tip, that I feel I can extend a line for miles...and miles...and miles.
Heavenly to use but my pocket book did take quite a beating. I highly reccomend it for ink, watercolor and gouache. I have a few but I always feel so unworthy that I hardly ever use it. Lately, I would take it out while preparing for a painting but ended up grabbing for the $2.99 piece of sh*t brushes. Pathetic!
This week I'm off to San Francisco to attend a workshop. Should be fun. I'll post some sketches of the city soon.

These are beautiful ink sketches, Rich. Wonderful flow and design.
Have fun in the Bay area.
I agree with Vince m.
The flowy lines are hypnotizing; I kept staring at each piece soaking in the style. I think the word that would best describe these would be "Romantic", but it's just me.
These are great man! Great pose and awesome line work! I'll see you again at the drawing club soon.
